Year 5 Teacher – Full Time

Zest Education is recruiting on behalf of a warm, community‑focused primary school based in the heart of Edgbaston. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and confident teacher to take on a full‑time position in a large Year 5 class.

The Role

  • Full‑time Year 5 Class Teacher
  • Teaching a large and lively Year 5 cohort
  • Full planning responsibilities required
  • Paid to scale in line with experience (M1 – M6 maximum)
  • A rewarding role ideal for someone confident in upper Key Stage 2 teaching

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for a dedicated and resilient teacher who can bring energy and structure to a busy KS2 classroom.

You must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have strong behaviour management skills
  • Be consistent, reliable, and committed to pupil progress
  • Demonstrate confidence in delivering engaging, well‑structured lessons
  • Show the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
