Zest Education are proud to be exclusively working alongside a SEND school located in Birmingham. This school caters for students with ASC from the age 3-16 and keep their students at the heart of their service. The individualisation and needs of the students are a huge focus and promoted widely through the school’s curriculum. Along with this, the school has several built-in facilities and learning environments for the students to access along with being able to access the community within their school day.
This is a full-time learning support assistant role requiring you to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM-15:30PM supporting alongside the teacher and other learning support assistants. You will be required to work with small groups of students and on a one-to-one basis and due to the age range of these students, you must be flexible across all ages.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with ASC.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
