A busy and welcoming school in Perry Barr is seeking a professional, organised, and approachable School Administrator to join their front‑office team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with staff, pupils, and parents, and has previous experience in a school setting.

🗂️ What the Role Involves

• Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
• Managing phone calls, emails, and general office communication
• Supporting attendance processes, including daily registers and follow‑up calls
• Using school systems such as SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom to update pupil records
• Assisting with admissions, data entry, and maintaining accurate school documentation
• Providing administrative support to SLT, teachers, and wider school staff
• Handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion
• Supporting with safeguarding procedures and visitor management

👩‍💼 What the School Is Looking For

• Previous experience working in a school office (essential)
• Strong IT skills and confidence using MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom)
• Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities
• A calm, friendly, and professional manner when dealing with parents and pupils
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
