Headteacher PA

A highly regarded school in Lichfield is seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organised Personal Assistant to support the Headteacher. This is a key role within the school, requiring someone who can manage a fast-paced workload, handle sensitive information, and act as a trusted point of contact for staff, parents, governors, and external agencies.

🗂️ About the Role

As the Headteacher’s PA, you will:

• Provide high-level administrative and organisational support to the Headteacher
• Manage the Headteacher’s diary, appointments, and daily schedule
• Handle confidential correspondence, reports, and documentation with absolute discretion
• Act as the first point of contact for senior stakeholders, parents, and external partners
• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on actions
• Support HR processes, safeguarding administration, and compliance tasks
• Coordinate school events, communications, and key operational activities
• Ensure the smooth running of the school office and support wider admin staff when needed

👩‍💼 What We’re Looking For

• Significant experience as a PA, ideally within a school or education setting
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professionalism, discretion, and confidence handling sensitive information
• Ability to build positive relationships with staff, parents, and external agencies
• Proficiency with school MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom) is highly desirable
• A proactive, calm, and solution-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
