HLTA x2 – Warwickshire

Primary schools in Warwickshire are seeking experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone who can lead learning, support whole‑class teaching and contribute to a positive, well‑organised school environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to deliver planned lessons, lead small‑group interventions and provide occasional whole‑class cover. You will support pupils across the school, helping to maintain strong routines, positive behaviour and consistent learning standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons and provide whole‑class cover when required
• Lead small‑group interventions to support pupil progress
• Assist with planning, preparation and assessment where appropriate
• Support behaviour management and promote positive learning attitudes
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maintain a structured, inclusive environment
• Contribute to the wider life of the school as needed

What We’re Looking For

• HLTA qualification or substantial experience delivering whole‑class cover
• Confident leading learning and managing classroom routines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
• Good understanding of safeguarding and working with primary‑aged pupils
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently when required
• A proactive, professional approach to supporting teaching and learning
