📍 Job Details

• Role: 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Location: Primary School, Shard End
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: Full Time, 8:30am – 3:30pm

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with additional learning needs, ensuring full inclusion in classroom activities.
• Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging, creative learning experiences.
• Support the child’s social, emotional, and academic progress.
• Use initiative to help remove barriers to learning and encourage independence.

👤 Person Specification

• Experience working with children in a school setting, ideally in a 1:1 or SEND support role.
• A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow guidance while also using initiative when needed.
• A relevant childcare or education qualification is desirable but not essential.
