📖 Cover Supervisor – Secondary Schools (Newbridge & Surrounding Areas)

Start Date: From April
Location: Newbridge, Wolverhampton
Contract: Full-time / Part-time opportunities

About the Role

Zest Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors across Newbridge and the surrounding areas. Are you a graduate interested in beginning a rewarding career in education? Do you have experience coaching or volunteering with children and are now looking to take the next step towards teaching?

We work closely with a number of schools in and around Newbridge, many of which have a high demand for reliable Cover Supervisors with immediate opportunities available.

You will:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive pre-planned lessons
  • Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students
  • Leave effective feedback for the classroom teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a focused learning environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about the development of young people
  • Strong level of Numeracy and Literacy skills
  • Experience working in a classroom environment (not required but desired)
  • To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 20 days’ experience working with children or young people, or be a recent university graduate. Because Cover Supervisor work is so varied, we welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds — including recent graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, dance teachers, playgroup leaders, and scout leaders.
