We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our team at a secondary school in the Water Orton area. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students, developing their skills and knowledge in this area. The ideal candidate will have strong musical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in fostering a love for music in young people. This is a full-time role due to start in June 2026.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging music lessons to secondary school students
– Develop and implement curriculum content to meet the needs of students
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Organize and participate in school events and performances
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning and development
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or related field
– Teaching qualification or certification
– Strong musical abilities and proficiency in playing various musical instruments
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Previous experience working with secondary school students is preferred
