Level 3 Teaching Assistant

A welcoming and well‑established primary school in Stratford‑upon‑Avon is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong classroom experience, confidence supporting pupils of varying abilities and a proactive, nurturing approach to learning. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high‑quality support, help pupils stay engaged and contribute to a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• Confident working with pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, enthusiastic and proactive approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Role Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils during lessons, group work and daily routines
• Providing 1:1 or small‑group support where needed
• Assisting the class teacher with planning and preparation
• Helping pupils stay engaged, confident and ready to learn
• Supporting behaviour regulation and emotional wellbeing
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive and well‑organised classroom environment
