EYFS Teaching Assistant – Great Barr, Birmingham (ASAP Start)

Are you an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and high‑achieving Primary School? We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming two‑form entry Primary School in Great Barr, Birmingham, seeking a dedicated individual to join their Early Years team as soon as possible.

🌟 About the Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in supporting children’s early development and helping to create a positive, engaging learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and classroom preparation
  • Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners
  • Using sensory, play‑based and hands‑on activities to promote development
  • Working collaboratively with the wider EYFS team
  • Providing 1:1 support where required
  • Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
  • Immediate start available

 

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in Early Years or KS1, and a Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred (but not essential).
