School Cleaner – Part‑Time | Cannock, Staffordshire

Location: Cannock, Staffordshire Hours: 15 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 4pm–7pm) Contract: Ongoing Start Date: ASAP

Are you looking for a reliable part‑time cleaning job in Cannock that fits around family life or other commitments? Zest Education is recruiting an experienced School Cleaner to support a local school and help maintain a safe, hygienic learning environment.

⭐ Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas.
• Ensure the school environment is clean, hygienic, and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
• Follow all health and safety procedures, including correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment (COSHH compliant).
• Report hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to the facilities manager promptly.
• Secure the school premises at the end of each shift, ensuring all doors, windows, and alarms are correctly set.

✔️ Requirements

• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Previous experience in a cleaning role, ideally within a school or similar environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Flexibility to support additional cleaning duties when required.
