Full Time Teaching Assistant Y3/4

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Start Date: May Half Term

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Zest Education is proud to be working with a welcoming and well‑established primary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support across Year 3 and Year 4. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide classroom support across Year 3 and Year 4, working closely with class teachers.
  • Support pupils with varying abilities, including small‑group work and 1:1 interventions.
  • Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, behaviour support, and learning activities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold its values.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience preferred).
  • Is confident supporting learning in Key Stage 2.
  • Shows strong communication skills and a proactive, supportive attitude.
  • Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Is reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to long‑term work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
