Cleaner

Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire

Start: June 2026

Hours: Part-time, Term time only

Zest Education are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking cleaner to support a welcoming Primary School in Burntwood.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning of communal areas including, classrooms, corridors and toilets.
  • Emptying all waste bins and disposing of contents correctly.
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the school.
  • Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
  • Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.

 

You Will Need:

  • An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one).
  • Understanding around health & safety and COSHH guidelines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • To be dependable, punctual and takes pride in their work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
