Job Description

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Towcester is seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher to teach Year 3 and Year 4. As a result, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality teaching across the lower‑KS2 curriculum, helping pupils feel motivated, confident and fully engaged in their learning. In addition, the school is looking for someone who can bring strong classroom practice, consistency and a calm, nurturing approach. Furthermore, you’ll work closely with senior leaders and support staff to deliver well‑structured lessons, maintain high expectations and contribute to a positive school culture. Ultimately, this is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who wants to make a meaningful impact.

 

Key Responsibilities of a Year 3&4 Teacher 

  • Delivering engaging, well‑planned lessons across Year 3 and Year 4
  • Supporting pupils of mixed abilities to make strong progress
  • Maintaining a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom
  • Assessing learning and providing constructive feedback
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and wider school teams
  • Contributing to a supportive, forward‑thinking learning environment

 

What We’re Looking For

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • A proactive, adaptable and professional approach
  • Confidence teaching lower‑KS2 (Year 3 & Year 4)
  • Full‑time availability with an ASAP start
  • Interest in Qualified Teacher roles in Towcester
