Primary Teacher

Job Description

A welcoming primary school in Coventry now seeks a confident Primary Teacher for a part‑time September start. As you join the team, you lead learning with clarity and enthusiasm. Moreover, you work closely with staff to maintain a calm and structured classroom. In addition, you guide groups through daily tasks and deliver lessons when required. Throughout the day, you support behaviour, build rapport and help pupils stay focused.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lessons across the primary curriculum with consistency and care
  • Lead small‑group learning to reinforce key concepts and boost confidence
  • Maintain clear routines that promote structure and positive behaviour
  • Support emotional development through calm and nurturing guidance
  • Collaborate with staff to ensure strong and consistent provision

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified or experienced Primary Teacher with strong classroom practice
  • Confidence delivering lessons in a mainstream primary setting
  • Understanding of SEND to support diverse needs
  • Clear communication with pupils, staff and families
  • Part‑time availability from September
  • Interest in Coventry‑based roles
