We are closely working with a secondary school in the Saltley area who are looking for an experienced exam officer to join their team. This role is to start in September 2026 until at least December 2026, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the examination process in the secondary school.
2. Ensure compliance with examination board regulations and guidelines.
3. Manage exam timetables, coordination of invigilators, and examination room arrangements.
4. Handle the administration of exam entries, candidate registrations, and result submissions.
5. Liaise with teachers, students, and parents regarding exam-related queries and information.
6. Organize and supervise the distribution and collection of exam papers and materials.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to examinations.
8. Assist in the preparation and conduct of internal assessments and mock exams.
9. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient examination process.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Previous experience working as an exam officer or in a similar role is preferred.
– Knowledge of examination board procedures and regulations.
– Strong organizational and administrative skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
– Proficient in using computer applications for data management.
– Relevant qualifications in education or related field would be advantageous.
