Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable History teacher to join our team in a part-time (.8) capacity at a ‘Good’ OFSTED rated secondary school in Burton on Trent.

As the successful candidate, you will have excellent subject knowledge across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with knowledge at Key Stage 5 being an advantage. You will be responsible for planning, marking, and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a love for History among your students.

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

– A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded you QTS or QTLS
– A strong passion for the subject of History and outstanding subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential)
– A team-oriented mindset and a desire to contribute to a strong and supportive team environment
– The ability to plan, mark, and deliver high-quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements)
– Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
