Level 3 EYFS

A warm and welcoming nursery in Atherstone is looking for a part‑time Nursery Assistant to join their early years team. This role suits someone who brings strong EYFS knowledge, a nurturing approach and genuine enthusiasm for supporting young children. Because this is a qualification‑led role, Level 3 EYFS is essential.

You’ll help create a calm, structured and playful environment where children feel safe, confident and ready to explore. As part of the team, you’ll support daily routines, guide small groups and contribute to purposeful learning that builds communication, independence and early development.

Key Responsibilities

• Early years supervision that keeps routines calm, safe and consistent
• Play‑based learning to build communication, curiosity and confidence
• Daily EYFS routines including setup, transitions and wellbeing checks
• Behaviour guidance using warm, steady communication
• Support for early literacy, numeracy and communication skills
• Close teamwork with nursery staff to maintain a nurturing environment

• Level 3 EYFS qualification (essential)
• Strong experience in nursery or early years settings
