Graduate Jobs in Schools – Staffordshire

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates to work as Cover Supervisors in the Staffordshire area including but not limited to, Lichfield, Stafford, Tamworth and Burton upon Trent.

Cover supervision is a great steppingstone into education. It provides you with invaluable experience in classrooms working with a range of schools and year groups. We have many graduates working for us who have gone on to gain formal teaching qualifications!

Day to day cover supervision will include:

• Supervising pre-set work for various subjects.
• Responding to any questions from pupils while they are completing their subject tasks.
• Managing the behaviour of pupils.
• Dealing with any problems according to the school’s policy and procedures.
• Reporting back to the appropriate teacher on the behaviour of pupils during class.
• Collecting and returning completed work to the appropriate teacher.

The passionate individual will:

• Have good Maths and English skills.
• Have a minimum of 20 days experience working with children or young people.
• Be a team player and work well with others.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.

The minimum experience for this role is 20 days working with children or young people within the last 2 years. Recent graduates will also be considered for this role.
