Zest Education are working with several secondary schools across Staffordshire who need Cover Supervisors ASAP. This includes Lichfield, Tamworth, Stafford and Cannock.
This type of work is flexible to work around you and your commitments. So if you are thinking about getting into teaching or still job searching, cover supervision is a great way to decide which path is for you.
What does the role involve?
A successful Cover Supervisor will work within our secondary schools delivering pre planned lessons to a range of KS3 & KS4 students when teaching staff are on short term absence. They will manage the students behaviour and provide feedback to the relevant staff members.
To be considered:
To be successful in this role you must have at least 20 days working with children and or young people or be a recent graduate. The experience can come from a range of different areas such as scout group leading, sports coaching, volunteering, placements, work experience and dance teachers.
The average day to day rate of pay for a Cover Supervisor is around £65-£85 with normal working hours being between 8:30am and 3:30pm.
