Zest Education have a long standing working relationship with a number of secondary schools in Stoke on Trent who are in need of Cover Supervisors. We have been asked to provide reliable candidates on a flexible basis to start ASAP.

The role of a Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor you will be required to manage a class of pupils in the short term absence of a class teacher. You will be covering a range of subjects across a range of secondary year groups. The work will be pre planned by the class teacher within the school and you will also need to manage the behaviour of the class in like with the schools policy and provide feedback to the relevant senior leaders.

A successful applicant will have:

  1. Very good English/Maths skills
  2. Excellent communication skills with students / parents/carers, and professionals
  3. Can use ICT to support and enhance teaching and learning
  4. A passionate commitment to raising the attainment of all students
  5. A team player who can work collaboratively with others

To be considered you will have a minimum of 20 days experience working with children/young people.

Rate of pay will be dependent on experience.
