Are you an Early Career Teacher looking for a new role for September?

Zest Education are working closely with several secondary schools in Telford who have requested help with the application process of finding Early Career Teachers (ECT’s).

Roles required include day to day cover, short-term and long-term placements. Day to day roles are required ASAP with short and long term placements due to start in the new academic year.

Working with Zest allows ECT’S to experience different schools to decide which is best for them before committing to their placement. We are flexible to work around you and your commitments, giving you the flexibility to decide which days you want to work.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for their subject/s and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Good time management and ICT skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
