Zest Education is working closely with a secondary school in Stafford who need a passionate Cover Supervisor for the new academic year (ASAP).  The role is full time and you will be required to cover general subjects in the absence of a class teacher.

This popular secondary school is located in Stafford and their passion for supporting students within a positive learning environment

Contract – Temporary (The role will start in September 2023 and is due to finish in July 2024)

Schedule – Monday – Friday

Teaching – KS3 and KS4 general subjects

The successful candidate will:

  • Be an experienced or aspiring Cover Supervisor with a passion for nurturing a love for learning
  • Set high expectations for all children, engaging and motivating them in their learning journey
  • Uphold the highest expectations of achievement and behaviour, leading by example
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with a diverse group of students
  • Demonstrate creativity, initiative, imagination, and a positive approach to problem-solving
  • Be eager to contribute to the all-encompassing life of the school

In your role as a Cover Supervisor you’ll have the responsibility and privilege of creating a learning experience that both challenges and supports our pupils, enabling them to be the best they can be. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).

The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
