Role Overview: Zest are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a Key Stage 2 (KS2) student. The successful candidate will provide tailored support to a student with specific educational needs, ensuring they have access to a balanced and engaging curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a KS2 student, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Assist with the implementation of individualized education plans.
  • Support the student in achieving their academic and social goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor and record the student’s progress and provide feedback to the relevant staff and parents.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere for learning and development.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience working with children in a school setting, preferably in KS2.
  • Knowledge of child development and special educational needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable.

Pay is dependant on references and experience.
