Zest are working closely with a primary school just outside of Rugeley who require a 1-1 learning support assistant to join their team. You will be supporting a year 3 child in their learning and progression. This full time role is due to start in January 2024 and will continue until the end of the academic year.
The school have a variety of exciting learning opportunities stimulated by their extensive outdoor facilities. This popular two-form entry school like to celebrate and recognise each child’s talents, both within school and beyond. They are inclusive to all abilities and differing needs, catering their learning and support to ensure that all children make their best progress.
During this role, you will be required to provide additional learning support to meet the needs of the year 3 child. You will have the ability to encourage the child to interact with the class and engage in activities. You should be a calm, nurturing and patient individual who has excellent communication skills. The school would like someone who has had experience working with children with special education needs.
