1-1 Support Assistant

A nurturing and forward‑thinking SEND school in Stratford‑upon‑Avon is looking for a committed 1:1 Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and wants to make a genuine difference every day. You’ll be working closely with one pupil who requires consistent, personalised support to help them feel settled, confident and ready to learn. If you’re calm, patient and motivated by helping children overcome challenges, this role will feel incredibly rewarding.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND
• Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs
• Supporting learning activities and adapting tasks to suit individual abilities
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive behaviour
• Working closely with teachers, therapists and the wider SEND team
• Helping create a safe, structured and encouraging environment
