1:1 Practitioner – Toddler Room

Zest Education is recruiting for a 1:1 Practitioner to support a child with hearing difficulties within a toddler room based in a lovely nursery located in the Edgbaston area. This will be starting from January 2026 till May 2026.

The setting cares for up to 24 toddlers and provides a warm, nurturing environment that encourages exploration, play, and early development. This rewarding position is ideal for someone who is caring, patient, and passionate about helping young children thrive — no formal qualifications are required.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a child with hearing difficulties in the toddler room.
  • Help the child engage in play, learning, and social activities.
  • Build a strong, trusting relationship to support communication and confidence.
  • Work closely with the nursery team and parents to meet the child’s individual needs.
  • Maintain a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for all children.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • No qualifications required – experience with young children is essential or SEND is desirable but not essential.
  • Patient, caring, and committed to supporting early years learning.
  • Positive, reliable, and able to work well within a team.
  • Enthusiastic about making a difference in a child’s development.
