Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Supervise children with additional needs during lessons and activities
• Support learning through one to one and small group work
• Liaise with classroom staff to plan and deliver daily support
• Encourage positive behaviour, independence and engagement
• Help children manage routines, transitions and social situations
• Prepare and organise learning resources with the teacher
• Provide clear feedback on pupil progress and needs

Candidate Requirements
• Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable
• Experience in a UK school setting is desirable
• Strong communication skills
• A calm, positive and patient approach
• Ability to follow guidance and use your initiative
• Relevant training or qualifications are desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
