1:1 Support Assistant

A caring and inclusive school in Leamington Spa is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work closely with a pupil who requires additional support. This role is ideal for someone with strong SEND experience or similar background, who can provide consistent, patient and structured support throughout the school week. You’ll work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to help the pupil access learning, regulate emotions and build confidence in a safe, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Providing consistent 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND
• Assisting with learning activities and daily routines
• Helping the pupil stay engaged, regulated and confident
• Supporting communication, social skills and independence
• Working collaboratively with teachers and the SENDCo
• Contributing to a positive, inclusive and supportive environment
