1:1 Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Do you possess the skills and dedication to support individual students in their educational journey? Zest Education is seeking a motivated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team working at a mainstream primary school in Mickleover.

Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to a specific student, helping them to achieve their educational goals
– Assist with classroom activities, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborate with the classroom teacher to develop and implement tailored learning strategies
– Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher and parents
– Foster a supportive and nurturing relationship with the student, promoting their well-being and engagement in learning

Requirements:
– Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting
– Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and educational strategies
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children

Qualifications:
– Minimum of level 2 qualifications.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
