Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is delighted to announce a fantastic job opportunity for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school in Kingshurst on a full-time basis.
Situated in the heart of Kingshurst, our partner school is known for its inclusive and supportive environment that nurtures both students and staff. The school prides itself on providing a high-quality education that caters to the individual needs of every student. With a strong sense of community and teamwork, the school fosters a positive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages growth and development.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the individual needs of a specific student within the school. Your responsibilities will include providing personalized support to the student, assisting with their learning and development, and ensuring their well-being and inclusion within the school community. You will work closely with the teaching staff to implement strategies and interventions tailored to the student’s needs, helping them achieve their full potential.
Requirements for Successful Candidates:
– Minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
– Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders
– Passion for supporting the academic and personal growth of students
– Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one)

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
