Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is currently working closely with a delightful school in Stechford to find a dedicated Year 3 Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will have the rewarding opportunity to work 1:1 with a child with special educational needs on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with a Year 3 student with special educational needs, providing 1:1 support to help them achieve their academic and personal development goals. Key responsibilities include:
– Supporting the student in their learning activities and educational progress
– Implementing tailored strategies to address the student’s specific needs
– Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to create individualized learning plans
– Providing emotional support and encouragement to help the student thrive in the school environment
– Maintaining accurate records of the student’s progress and achievements

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:
– Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable)
– Experience working with children with special educational needs
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
– Flexible, adaptable, and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of students

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
