Zest Education is currently recruiting for 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work full-time at a primary school in Cannock.

In this role, you will have the rewarding opportunity to support a child in the Year 3 class who requires additional assistance with their learning journey. At this Primary school, they have a strong culture of safeguarding which can be seen through their day to day lives and the curriculum within the school. They provide a safe, happy and vibrant learning environment, which develops the students sense of responsibility and enables them to be confident and caring citizens of the wider world. The school are looking for someone who can match these values and work well within a team.

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalised support to the student, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a 1:1 setting and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on children’s education.

This position is Monday to Friday, starting in September with the potential for ongoing employment. While a Level 2 or above qualification in childcare is desirable, the most important factors are a caring attitude, patience, and a willingness to support the child in their educational development.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
