Zest Education is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Stafford who are looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their Year 4 class. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive and achieve their full potential.
You will be providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil in Year 4 who requires additional help with their learning and social development. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCo, you’ll support the pupil’s individual needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and enjoy their time at school.
Support a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day.
Assist with classroom activities, interventions, and targeted learning programmes.
Encourage the child’s independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews of progress.
Experience working with children in a primary setting (Key Stage 2 preferred).
Knowledge of supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN experience desirable).
A patient, compassionate, and encouraging attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
