A good Ofsted-rated school in Derby is seeking a passionate Year 5 Teacher to join their team on a maternity cover basis starting in May 2025. Roles:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 5 students.

3. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for students.
5. Uphold the school’s values and policies while promoting a positive and respectful learning environment.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience.
2. Strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
5. Commitment to continuous professional development and upholding high standards of education.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
