Zest are recruiting for a HLTA to start in September 2024 at a lovely primary school we work with based in Cannock. The role will continue for at least one term with the possibility of extension for the ideal candidate. This exciting opportunity is for both Level 3 & Level 4 HLTA’s who are looking to progress in their career.

This vibrant high school hons an ambitious learning community with a persistent focus on high standards of academic achievement and equality of opportunity. Being able to work well within a team to achieve both individual and a collective best is essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work across the school to support class teachers as well as covering PPA where needed and taking class’s when teachers are absent.
  • Be expected to build relationships with pupils and staff quickly.
  • Ensure the children stay on task and have a good understanding of the lesson objectives.
  • Be required to take small groups of children (up to 6) for intervention classes.
