Zest Education is on the hunt for a nurturing and passionate Full-time Nursery Assistant to work at a local authority nursery school in Atherstone.

This nursery schools curriculum is built around children’s interests and prior learning. Accurate assessment and careful planning builds on their next steps in learning and supports the development of new skills and knowledge. Because of highly effective teaching, most children make outstanding progress at this school. They are fortunate to have large open classrooms a fantastic outdoor learning space as well as their very own Forest School.

The school are looking for a candidate who goes above and beyond in supporting the educational journey of students aged 2 to 4. The ideal candidate must be flexible and adaptable, possessing a forward-thinking approach to education. Effective communication skills are essential, along with a proactive attitude towards continuing professional development opportunities.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong literacy and numeracy skills, creating a supportive learning environment for students. Being friendly, approachable, and showcasing your passion for early childhood education are key qualities.

This role is set to start as soon as possible and is ongoing for the right individual. Previous experience working within a nursery or nursery school setting is a must.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
