Administrator

A welcoming and well‑organised school in Northfield is looking for an experienced, confident, and efficient School Administrator to join their busy front‑office team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys supporting staff and families, and can keep school operations running smoothly with professionalism and accuracy.

🗂️ Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and external agencies
• Managing incoming calls, emails, and general office communication
• Supporting attendance processes, registers, and follow‑up calls
• Maintaining and updating pupil records using MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor/Bromcom)
• Assisting with admissions, data entry, and compliance documentation
• Providing administrative support to SLT and teaching staff
• Handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Supporting safeguarding procedures, visitor sign‑in, and ID checks
• Helping ensure the smooth day‑to‑day running of the school office

👩‍💼 What the School Needs

• Strong experience in school administration (essential)
• Confident use of MIS systems and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• A calm, professional, and approachable manner
• High attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
