Administrator

Zest Education is recruiting a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join a school based in Walsall. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills and experience in school office environments, or a background in administration and customer service.

🧩 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily administrative support to the school office
• Manage correspondence including emails, phone calls, and visitor enquiries
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and pupil information systems
• Support with admissions, attendance monitoring, and reporting
• Assist with organising meetings, preparing documents, and minute-taking
• Handle confidential information in line with school policies
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and data protection requirements

👤 Ideal Candidate:

✅ Previous experience in school administration or an office-based role

📋 Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

💬 Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills

🖥️ Proficient with IT systems (SIMS, Arbor, or similar systems an advantage)

🤝 Professional, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues

🛡️ Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality in education

🪪 Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
