Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school located in Bromsgrove, which is looking for a passionate Art and Design Teacher. This role will be for an initial period of one term, and the successful applicant will be required to start as of January 2024, on a full-time basis.

Ideally, the school are looking for a creative and dynamic teacher to join their departmental team, who aims to and is passionate about improving the learning outcomes for all their students. Additionally, the school offers state-of-the-art facilities, to aid teachers in creating engaging and fun ways of learning.

 The successful applicant should have the following: 

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Art and Design and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
  • A team ethos and the desire to be part of a strong team environment.
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high-quality lessons.
  • Strong classroom and behavioural management skills

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
