Zest Education are currently working with a secondary school located in Solihull. The school are looking for an Art and Design Teacher, to teach across KS3-KS5, the role will start ASAP, on a full-time basis, this will continue for the rest of the academic year and into the next.
The school is a large secondary, which caters for a broad range of pupils and has a high number of EAL students. The teachers here work hard to create a safe and happy place for its students, the school also promotes an open-door policy for all their pupils, so that everyone feels comfortable to discuss any views or concerns.
The school are ideally looking for a dynamic and creative teacher to join their departmental team, the successful candidate will also have access to the school’s state of the art facilities.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Art and Design and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 to KS5
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
