Zest Education are currently working closely with a secondary school located in Burntwood who have a need for an Art and Design Teacher. The role will be for an initial period of one school term and the successful applicant would be needed to start September 2022 on a Full-time basis.
Ideally the school would like a creative and dynamic teacher to join their departmental team who aim to and are passionate about improving the learning outcomes for all students. Additionally, the school offers state of the art facilities and is easily accessible through either public or private transport.
Not only does the school have a great reputation in the local community, the successful applicant would also be joining a supportive leadership structure as well as an excellent departmental team.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Art and Design and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements)
- Strong classroom and behaviour management

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
