Arts Teacher – Solihull

Job Description

Zest Education are closely working with a Secondary School in the Solihull area who are looking for an Arts teacher. The school which has an Ofsted report of ‘Good’ has pupils enjoying a wide range of extra-curricular activities and the curriculum supports their personal development.

As an Arts Teacher, you will be tasked with planning, delivering, and marking inspiring lessons that will promote pupils’ thirst for learning. Pupils cover a range of key skills including colour, shape, and tone using a variety of materials such as watercolour, acrylic paint, and pencil work. You will support children in Year 10 and 11 with creating their Portfolios which will build towards their GCSE grade.

This role is full time starting in September 2022.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of Art
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.
