Zest Education has been working closely with a secondary school, located in Sutton Coldfield. We are supporting them in their search for a new Biology Teacher to join their team.
This role would be on a full-time basis and starting as of September 2024, this will be for a a minimum of one term, with the high potential of turning permanent for the right candidate.
Ideally, the school is looking for an individual who specialises in Biology, however, would consider applicants who have experience teaching the subject up to KS4.

The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
- A strong passion for the subject of Biology and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4.
- A team ethos and desire to be part of a strong team environment.
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Strong classroom and behavioural management skills.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
Rates of pay will vary depending on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
