Zest Education are looking to recruit a full time Business Studies Teacher for a local Staffordshire Secondary School. The role is to start April 2024 for a minimum of one term.

This high performing school pride themselves on delivering a broad and balanced curriculum where students gain the knowledge and skills to become strong individuals. The school is a busy secondary which caters for a broad range of pupils, including a high number of EAL students, and has a supportive and inclusive ethos across all year groups.

The chosen candidate will have excellent subject knowledge of Business Studies up to Key Stage 5 as it is a popular subject taken up at A Level. Exceptional behaviour and classroom management is also needed along with the ability to plan and mark lessons and assessments.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5
  • A team ethos and desire to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be confident in using ICT in their professional role
