Zest Education are working with a secondary school in North Birmingham, close to Sutton Coldfield. The school are looking for a Business Studies teacher to teach across KS4 and KS5. This role will start in September 2022, full time, and this will be to cover a long-term maternity leave until summer 2023.
The school is situated in a popular area, so is easily accessible by private or public transport. The successful candidate will be joining a well-supported departmental team that encourage all their students to progress socially and academically, so they become confident young adults. The school also offers good indoor and outdoor facilities to allow for creative lessons.
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and experience of teaching Business across GCSE and A Level
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
