Zest Education are working closely with schools across the West Midlands, with one school in Walsall currently looking for a Business Teacher. The role is full time and will be to start in January, teaching across KS 4 and 5 , it would be for the remainder of the academic year.

They expect a good understanding of the subject and a passionate teaching style in order to keep the students engaged as well as learning. The school is an good Ofsted rated school with all staff doing their upmost to make sure the students achieve and have the best start to adult life. It is based in a great area for both public and private transport.

The successful candidate will be committed, enthusiastic and creative in how they teach. Building relationships is key to the role as the school believes that this will help get the best out of the young adults being taught here.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Business Studies and excellent subject knowledge across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be confident in using ICT in their professional role

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.
