Zest Education is currently looking for a dedicated Catering Supervisor to join a team at a primary school with an outstanding reputation. This role involves supporting the preparing, cooking, and creating of suitable menus for our school catering services.
Responsibilities:
– Supervising daily duties of a school catering assistant
– Preparing and cooking meals in a professional kitchen environment
– Creating nutritious and appealing menus for school students
– Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety
Requirements:
– Previous experience of cooking in a non-domestic environment
– Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about catering to enhance their leadership skills within a supportive and professional setting. You will be guided and mentored by our experienced catering management team to help you excel in your role.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you, the cost of the DBS is £61.30) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is recent and relevant experience, ideally school-based within the last 5 years.
