Chemistry Teacher

Job Description

An outstanding secondary school in North Birmingham (Handsworth) have asked us to source a qualified Chemistry Teacher to start with them in April 2023. This role will initially be for one term, but may extend for the right person. The school will consider applications from experienced teachers or high calibre Early Career Teachers (ECT’s).

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience of teaching Science, ideally with a specialism of Chemistry up to GCSE level (A level would be advantageous). Planning and marking will also be involved, along with being a vibrant member of this thriving Science department.

This is a very popular school in the Birmingham local authority, where expectations for students and teachers are high. Excellent communication skills and effective behaviour management are mandatory.
