An outstanding secondary school in north Birmingham (Handsworth) have asked us to source a qualified Chemistry Teacher to start with them in January 2024. This role will initially be for one term, but may extend for the right person.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have previous experience of teaching Science, ideally with a specialism of Chemistry up to GCSE level. We welcome applications from newly qualified teachers or experienced teachers.
Planning and marking will also be involved, along with being a vibrant member of this thriving Science department.
This is a very popular school in the Birmingham local authority, where expectations for students and teachers are high. Excellent communication skills and effective behaviour management are mandatory.
